Specify the grade. Understand the complete requirement.
A material family alone is not a complete manufacturing specification. Alloy grade, stock condition, finishing requirements and acceptance criteria all affect the production plan. Magnesium is Lianwei’s specialty, alongside a broader focus on precision metal components in aluminum, zinc alloys and stainless steel.
Magnesium alloys
Discuss lightweight housings and structural geometry with us. Include the exact alloy and intended environment so machining and surface-treatment requirements can be evaluated together.
Aluminum and zinc alloys
Send the grade, manufacturing route and finish specification. CNC machining and aluminum die-cast tooling are reviewed according to part design and order requirements.
Stainless steel
Identify the specific grade and condition, critical interfaces and final surface requirements. The project review confirms the machining and inspection approach.
Capability at a glance
- Magnesium
- Core focus; machining and magnesium die-cast tooling evaluation
- Aluminum
- Precision machining, aluminum die-cast tooling and compatible finishing
- Zinc alloys
- Metal component machining evaluated by alloy and geometry
- Stainless steel
- Precision machining reviewed by grade, condition and feature requirements
- Material verification
- Hitachi OE-750 spectrometer capability; alloy coverage and reporting confirmed for the project
Prepare your material specification
Include the alloy standard, grade, stock condition, finish and any certificate requirements. If a choice is still open, mark it clearly in the enquiry so assumptions can be discussed before quotation.

Can you select the material for my product?
We can discuss manufacturing implications. Final material selection should be approved by the party responsible for the product’s design and performance.
Are specific alloy grades always in stock?
No standing stock list is published here. Material availability and certification requirements are checked during quotation.
