Built around your magnesium component.
Magnesium CNC machining is a core focus at Lianwei. Our equipment portfolio includes DMG MORI five-axis machining resources and MAZAK turn-mill equipment; the appropriate machine and setup are selected after reviewing the component. We combine precision machining, aluminum and magnesium die-cast tooling, and finishing coordination to support demanding metal components. Every project starts with the specified alloy, drawing and functional requirements, so the manufacturing route fits the part rather than a generic process.
Complex structural features
Multi-axis machining provides access to multiple faces, pockets and angled features. We review workholding and machining sequence around the part’s geometry and critical interfaces.
A considered route to production
Machining and die-cast tooling are separate routes with different tooling and volume considerations. We evaluate the intended quantity and design maturity before recommending a route.
Finish and fit considered together
Coating requirements, contact surfaces and final dimensions should be defined together. Magnesium finishing is reviewed for the specific alloy and application; aluminum finishing options are not automatically interchangeable.

Frequently asked questions
Can you work from a 3D model?
Send your model with a dimensioned drawing identifying critical tolerances, material and finish. A model alone may not define the acceptance requirements.
Can you guarantee the same tolerance on every feature?
No single tolerance applies to every geometry. Achievable tolerances are confirmed after reviewing feature size, material, workholding and finishing.
Is there a fixed magnesium lead time?
Lead time depends on stock availability, complexity, quantity, tooling and inspection. We confirm a project-specific schedule after review.
